The larger of Sea Cloud’s two villas, Villa Makani spans three floors above Cape Panwa on Phuket’s quieter southeastern coast. Six king bedrooms hold up to 12 guests, four facing the sea and two the garden, with rooms ranging from 39 to 96 sqm and every one finished to the same standard.

The main living room is bright and open, with floor-to-ceiling glass framing both the bay and the landscaped garden. Pale upholstery, warm wood and stone-topped tables keep the mood soft and natural, while expansive sofas make the room feel made for long afternoons together. Sheer curtains filter the tropical light and contemporary lighting gives the space a warm glow after sunset. The room opens directly onto the pool terrace and outdoor dining area, letting the villa move easily between air-conditioned comfort and open-air living.

A European kitchen supports casual use while a separate Thai kitchen allows the villa’s chef to prepare lunch and dinner privately. There is a separate bar, along with indoor and poolside dining settings for group meals.

Outdoors, the 97 sqm saltwater infinity pool is the defining feature. Set against the bay, it appears to merge with the sea beyond, and timber loungers line the terrace in both sunlit and shaded positions. A covered dining terrace sits closer to the garden, framed by tropical planting, while upper balconies offer more private vantage points from the sea-facing bedrooms. A side gate leads down to the shoreline, bringing guests closer to the coast than the elevated views alone suggest.

The lower level turns more playful. A game room and pool table gather everyone after dinner, while a private gym and sauna create a quiet wellness retreat within the villa. These facilities sit inside Villa Makani and are reserved for Makani guests.

Every stay includes daily continental breakfast, Thai chef service for lunch and dinner, daily housekeeping, an English-speaking villa manager, on-call concierge assistance, complimentary Wi-Fi and round-trip airport transfers for stays of three nights or more. Babysitting, laundry and pre-arrival shopping can be arranged separately.
